Tatsuya Hirai is a full professor at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University(APU), which is one of the most global universities in Japan. He also serves as a director of Education Development and Learning Support Center at APU, and have engaged in developing creative educational programs and curriculum reform. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota. He has worked as an international student counselor and career counselor both in the U.S. and Japan. His major interests in research and practice include the development of career education, multicultural counseling, positive psychology, and global leadership.

Robert Thorn former Secondary Principal at Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS), Tokyo and also Founding Director of ‘Developing Real Learners’ – a non-profit organisation set on enabling learning communities to develop and transform education, globally. He is collaborating with a number of communities globally to develop an approach to global, K-12 education that aims to help all young people become the best holistic learners they can be through their own cultural perspectives. Robert has taught in a wide variety of educational systems and countries and now seeks to help young people have the sort of freedom and happiness a real education should bring.
